Greg Michael
Directing Like a Pro with Director Greg Michael. Learn the secrets of professional directors including how to tell your story efficiently and
effectively, how to get the most out of your production days, how to cover a scene (which shots to spend time on and which to ignore), how to
best prepare yourself and your crew, and how the process of casting can best serve your project. Greg has directed the 2nd units on such films as
GI Joe: Rise of Cobra, Hotel for Dogs, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, The Time Machine, Van Helsing, The Scorpion King, Rudyard
Kipling's The Jungle Book, among others. He's also a produced screenwriter (co-writer on Tri-Star Pictures' 1999 hit family comedy Baby
Geniuses) and the associate producer on the upcoming feature Odd Thomas.

Christy Adair
Product Placement in Feature Films: Today’s corporate brand managers look for ways to achieve organic placement in a script
that may later lend itself to promotional support for a film. Can this be a source of funding for films? For 20 years, instructor
Christy Adair has worked in physical production, production finance and production resources at several studios, including Sony
Pictures, Disney and NBC Universal. She has visited hundreds of film, and TV sets and talked with all levels of the production
crew about how to better serve the film or TV property. Christy currently works for Pentmark (Propaganda Entertainment
Marketing) finding organic ways to include product placement, product integration and promotions into feature films like Twilight
Saga, Remember Me, Furry Vengeance, Letters To Juliet, RED, Source Code, The Three Musketeers and Man On A Ledge.

(besides $). Rick Mills (10-11am) has been a sound mixer for the Olympics ‘84 & ‘92 for News with Chris Mathews, Dateline, Dan
Rather Reports for HDNET, & 168 films (The Cure-08, The Call 09). Rob Scott (1-2pm) is a specialist in location sound work, he
was the sound mixer for the first season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, & for 5 seasons of Viva La Bam with Bam Margera & boom
operator on A Few Good Men, which was nominated for Best Sound. He recently completed mixing two seasons of Border Wars
and is currently booming on News Room, HBO's new Aaron Sorkin drama.

Jim O’keeffe & Luke Schelhaas
Writer-Director Interaction with Luke Schelhaas & Jim O'Keeffe. Luke is the writer of MAX, which won six awards at 2004's 168
Film Festival, including Best Screenplay & Picture. Luke has worked as writer/producer for TV dramas Touched By an Angel, Smallville, and
Killer Instinct. Jim O'Keeffe is a director, award-winning cinematographer and adjunct professor of cinematography at USC. He directed MAX,
a finalist in the Atlanta Int'l Film Festival & part of the Int'l Cinematographer's Showcase. It was Best Short Film at: Damah, God on Film &
Sabaoth Film Festivals. Jim is currently directing a documentary called Go Public: A Day in the Life of PUSD (gopublicproject.org).

John Gresch
ARRI Lighting Seminar Train with John Gresch & Aaron Weller. Learn professional techniques to light scenes & proper
operation and application of professional lighting and grip equipment. John Gresch is Vice President of Lighting Products for
ARRI Inc. He is an instructor of HMI lighting for IATSE 728 Safety & Training program. He often lectures on this and other
lighting topics for union, trade, and educational groups. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and Past President
of its West Coast Drama Alumni Clan. John is an associate member of the Am. Society of Cinematographers (ASC).
Spirit on the Set Conversations on the set. How to tell YOUR story. Award-winning Writer/Director Derrick Warfel wrote
and produced the feature film The Fall of Night (2005). He was a Focus Finalist for writing and directing the 20-min 16MM short
A Change of Season. Derrick is a graduate of USC Film School, Princeton University, Dallas Theological Seminary and the
Warner Bros. Writer's Workshop.

Good Samaritans (NBC) and FBI Criminal Pursuit (Discovery). His recent films include Across The Line: The Exodus of Charlie
Wright with Andy Garcia & Aidan Quinn & South Dakota (director Bruce Isaacson, producer Howard Kazanjian. Mike
edited WWII doc Mother of Normandy and numerous commercials, music videos and short films including 168 Films. Mike's
debut novel, "SEVEN-X" is an edgy, psychological thriller/horror due in spring, based on Mt. 12:43-43/Luke 11:24-26.
Directing Actors with Nikki H. How you cast and direct your actors is crucial to success. This class will help you with these
skills. Recognize potential problems casting, avoid common mistakes directing & communicate clearly to actors for amazing
performances. Nikki's classes are attended by filmmakers & Emmy award-winning TV directors. Nikki H is an award-winning
director, who has worked in theatre, video and film. In addition to directing over 50 plays, she has taught directing and acting and
worked with ABC casting their diversity showcases. Nikki has worked with Ed Asner, Jason Alexander and Jennifer Tilly.
