168 is an annual, worldwide speed-filmmaking competition and exhibition. The challenge to filmmakers—draw a random scripture and in just one week (168 hours) shoot and edit a short film. We assist emerging filmmakers.

Amoeba Mixer:  Sat., Jan. 31, 9:30 AM-1:30 PM.  All are welcome to this spectacle!  A giant outer circle revolves to meet the inner circle, then the circles divide and meet themselves just like an amoeba.  Engulf & Communicate!  Light breakfast provided.  See website for more info. Location: MCC

Mini-Workshop:  Sat, Feb. 7, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM & 1:00 PM-4:00 PM. Seminars from Hollywood experts in diverse topics such as Lighting with Arri, Inc., direction, and sound give foundational skills to beginners and fine points for pros. This includes a Mandatory (SoCal) Producers Meeting.
